The new Telesteps Loft Ladder is probably the most compact solution to a very common problem - getting up into the loft, it is also the worlds first truly telescopic loft ladder. The ladder is spring assisted and completely housed within the frame of the loft hatch when it is folded. The Eco Timber Loft Ladder is a quality folding loft ladder made from solid Spruce ideal for a loft or attic where space is limited. The Eco utilises a spring loaded mechanism which results in smooth lowering and retraction operation. Wide 82mm by 342mm treads allow for comfortable and safe climbing. As with most folding loft ladders no vertical or horizontal clearance is required as the ladder sections sit on the hatch assembly. A clearance of 1260 mm is required however to unfold the ladder into its open position. The ladders are supplied complete with their hatch frame and an insulated, draught proof loft hatch. It also includes a pole for pulling down the loft hatch. Installation is straightforward, the pre-mounted hatch assembly is simply screwed laterally into the adjacent loft floor joists.
